Just finished watching Wimbledon women's final and was wondering whether I will ever see an Indian playing this final (not the juniors)
I wonder what happens when promising junior champions turn to the senior categories
Is it that competition is not very strong at junior levels or is it that we cant provide enough training to our junior champions to be at par with quality players in the senior category?
And why do Indian tennis champions in doubles fail to reach standards in singles?
Recent plans of using Valley of Kashmir as sport training grounds from 2007 miht be a step forward and lets hope that these training grounds are not just some more cricket pitches.
